IP Osgoode and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) are proud to announce the launch of Canada’s IP Writing Challenge 2012.

Eligible candidates are invited to submit articles addressing a thesis of importance in an area of intellectual property law from a Canadian or international perspective.

As in past years, one winner will be announced from each of three separate author categories:

• Law student category (LL.B, J.D., BCL, and LL.L students)
• Graduate student category (LL.M, S.J.D. and PhD students)
• Professional category (legal and business professionals who have been practising 7 years or less, including patent agents)

Winners will be awarded a prize of $1000 (CAD), have his/her work published on the IP Osgoode website (www.iposgoode.ca), and be considered for publication in the Canadian Intellectual Property Review and/or Intellectual Property Journal (IPJ), a journal edited by Professors David Vaver and Giuseppina D’Agostino.
